Notice of Proposed Ordinance

Take Notice that the Board of Supervisors of New Sewickley Township will take action to enact a new Ordinance to establish an "Airport District Overlay", at a meeting to be held on the 7th day of September, 2010, 7:30 P.M. in the New Sewickley Township Municipal Bulding located at 233 Miller Road, Rochester, of which thist Notice is a summary.  Enactment of this Ordinance is required by the Pennsylvania Aviation Code and Federal Aviation Regulations, and considers safety issues around the Zelienople Airport and regulates and restricts the heights of constructed structures and objects of natural growth.  The Ordinance also amends the Zoning Map by adopting a Supplementary Airport Overlay Zoning Map.

Copies of the full text of the proposed Ordinance are on file in the Municipal Building, located at 233 Miller Road, New Sewickley Township and may be examined by contacting the Township Secretary during regular business hours.
